Western Digital’s HGST has unveiled the world’s first 10TB hard drive, the helium-filled Ultrastar He10. This comes just a few weeks after Seagate announced initial availability of its 8TB air-filled hard drive, which at the time was the largest hard drive in the world.

The latest update for the Synology DiskStation manager software (DSM Version: 5.0-4493 Update 5) is available now. Of note among the various bug fixes, this revision addresses an identified vulnerability that could potentially allow servers to accept unauthorized access.
