Wireless Site Survey & Implementation

BUSINESS SITUATION

• Client was having issues with present Wi-Fi infrastructure
• Visitors and staff complain of dead spots and poor coverage
• Wireless infrastructure was end of life

INITIAL SURVEY

• Syscomm completed a wireless survey with spectrum analysis at clients’ Head Office location and 4 national locations
• Compiled results and presented client with complete Cisco Meraki solution with design and access point locations/additions
• Identified and accounted for rogue wireless devices and interference in buildings

IMPLEMENTATION

• Syscomm designed and implemented a Cisco Meraki wireless solution
• We installed/configured ten MS22P Cloud managed switches covering 11 floors and implemented eighty MR24 access points at the Toronto location
• Installed and configured another five MS22P Cloud managed switches and thirty MR24 access points in national offices

END RESULT

• Completed wireless audit, provided client with complete coverage maps and signal strength for all national locations
• Tested network and verified all throughput met and exceeded client requirements
