OS X El Capitan – Coming This Fall

This fall Apple will be releasing a new iteration of OS X: El Capitan. As the name suggests, El Capitan will be an incremental upgrade from it’s predecessor, Yosemite, and will build on the features and design changes introduced with it. OS X El Capitan will be quite similar to Yosemite visually, but will offer much welcomed under the hood improvements and refinements to the operating system.

With El Capitan, Apple focused on two major areas: user experience and performance. Window management, apps, and Spotlight search are being polished and updated for a more seamless end-user experience. Significant performance improvements have been made to get the most out of your new or existing Apple hardware.

OS X El Capitan will be a free upgrade to eligible Macs, and is expected to be released in autumn of this year. To check if your Mac will be eligible for this upgrade check the link below:
